She has taught for three years as an Assistant Professor in Vidyabharti College Of Management Studies, Amravati, besides this she has extended her services as a counselor teaming with famous Psychiatrist Dr. Laxmikant Rathi, and later with renowned Cardiologist Dr. Harish Baheti in Amravati City. Since settling in Nashik city in 2002, she has worked as a Psychologist for six years in Sahyadri Hospital formerly known as Nagji Memorial and Life Line Hospital. She has held several free counseling camps on behalf of Schizophrenia Awareness Association (S.A.A.) Pune.

Everyone is an inseparable part of the society and we all owe something to the society. In the light of present fast and hectic life schedule, most of us are under certain amount of mental stress. Keeping in the mind, she wanted to do something remarkable for the society. She has delivered discourses on social problems in various cities of Maharashtra viz. Navi Mumbai ,Nashik, Thane , Ahmednagar, Sinnar, Amravati, Akola, Daryapur, Morshi, Murtizapur etc.

With determination to create awareness, and to remove taboos and misconceptions from hearts of the peoples Dr. Neelam Muley persistently delivered lectures in many institutes, and also wrote articles in newspapers and magazines.

Pursuing her goal, she has organized various Workshops and series of lectures on social awareness in many social institutes, schools, colleges, senior citizen forum, and private as well as in public limited companies.

While in college life, she had strong liking for sports and games, which was conducive to participate in the tournaments. That finally gave her credit being selected in the Ball Badminton and throw ball teams. She was felicitated at state level sport event held at Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Akola, Murtizapur, Amravati, and Nashik.

Along with the games and sports, Dr. Neelam Muley was active in the stage Dramas, singing ,writing and organizing Children Camps. All the avenues are always open for those who have interest in. She has acted in Marathi films like Jai Saptashrungi Mata, Blind Game, Six September, Mhaskobachya Navan Changbhal, Gopya & recently in Vanshwel. She got an opportunity to enact with the leading cine-stars like Mohan Joshi, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Prasad Oke, Ashok Shinde, Deepak Shirke, Usha naik, Ankush Chaudhary, Avinash Narkar , Ravindra Berde, and Kishor Kadam etc.

Ek Paul Ek Prayatna - Ghadvel Vyaktimatva

She has written a Marathi book “ Eak Paul Eak Prayatna” for mission IAS, which was published in 2015 and second edition in 2016, Considering her continuous efforts for doing something better for society. Several social service clubs and organisations felicitated and awarded her with number of trophies like Best Woman of the year, Super Woman of the year through 2013 onwards.

Considering her continuous efforts for development of society by her knowledge , experience and remarkable work, she has been felicitated by Govt. of Maharashtra. Recently her session on Mental Health was broadcast from the Mumbai Akashwani in DilKhulas for continuous three days and also her interview was telecast from DD Sahyadri - Mumbai in Jay Maharashtra episode organized by Director General Information & Public Relation Dept. Govt. Of Maharashtra
